Jian Shi, DC MS

Dr. Shi  received her Master of Science degree form University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Public Health. Her dream was to become an environmental chemist. Due to an unexpected twist of fate, she found herself working in the Pharmaceutical Industry. However, after a few years working as a scientist, Dr. Shi slowly discovered that her true aspiration is relieving pain with physical medicine (manual therapies). One of her main focus is myofascial pain that caused by trigger point referral. This focus is formed when she practiced as a part time LMT in North Carolina.

In order to pursue her dream of becoming a  chiropractic physician, she and her husband, Derun moved from Cary, North Carolina to Portland, Oregon and studied at the University of Western States. At the same time, she was also certified in Whiplash and brain Injury Traumatology, a 4 part series that provided one of the most comprehensive coverage on the mechanism, treatment and Med legal issues related to auto accidents.
